疫情爆发的这三年，多少人的计划停在了原地。还记得上一次收拾行李是什么时候吗？

翻看自己三年前旅行的照片，如今感慨万千，在无法出行的时刻，也只能依靠相册的照片回忆当初旅行时的美好了。

This picture was taken when I was traveling in the U.S.A. The place in the picture is Niagara Falls, which is located at the junction of Ontario, Canada, and New York, USA. When I first saw the waterfall that day, I felt very shocked because it was so huge.

It was night because I heard that there would be a light show on the waterfall at night, so I went to watch it from the hotel. Under the light, the waterfall looks different from the day. The light was particularly beautiful through the mist, the mist over the falls becomes more visible under the light. Standing on the top of the waterfall, we could see the rushing water flowing past us, and hear the refreshing sound of the waterfall. That feeling is very cool and refreshing. Later, fireworks were set off on the other side, I was surprised and it became a deep memory of my trip.

Now because of the epidemic, we can no longer travel abroad as before. It is very unfortunate that we can't go abroad for a long time. I often hope that the epidemic will end soon.

When the travel ban is lifted, the first place I want to go will be Japan. The reason is that I left a lot of regrets when I went last time just before the epidemic. In many interesting cities, we only stayed for half a day and didn't even take Shinkansen. So if I can, I will finish all the things I wanted to do.

Before the epidemic, I traveled to Hong Kong. Hong Kong is surrounded by the sea, so we first went to the famous Ocean Park in Hong Kong. The Ocean Park is built on a hill and is surrounded by water. Then we went to the Golden Bauhinia Square, Victoria Harbour, and other famous scenic spots. All in all, it's pretty good.

Because of the epidemic, I can only stay at home. Sometimes I think it's so boring that I always stay at home. It is true that when I stay at home, I can have some time by myself playing games and reading books. However, I always want to travel, because when I go out, I can know different cultures and enjoy different customs.

If the travel ban is lifted, I want to go to Japan. Since Japan is surrounded by the sea, the seafood industry is very well-developed. I heard that the sushi there is so fresh and delicious, and I want to try it. Besides, the cherry blossoms in Japan are very beautiful. I want to go there to see the cherry blossoms.

唐人元稹有句：“柴扉日暮随风掩，落尽闲花不见人。” 我两次京都之行都在岁末，时节虽不是晚春，但和煦的冬日暖阳下，温润的轻风把人吹得微醺，直把京都当长安。

说这里是长安，是拿它的文雅和唐都的风华媲美；说这里不是，又是拿它的精致与皇城的磅礴相较，淡淡的哀愁中却又不妨碍对京都的爱。

由此想到二战中美军轰炸日本前，曾请来梁思成先生标注古迹，他为了保住人类共同的文化遗产，在地图上圈出平安京京都和平城京奈良，于是两京才躲过一劫。

现在，无数的国人不远千里只为了看一眼京都的唐风宋韵，当我们为它的美陶醉时，又何曾想过，这些美好，我们本触手可及，但最后都毁在自己手中，梁先生保住了京都和奈良，可他却没有办法保住自己最爱的北京城。

As an international metropolis, Shanghai gives people the feeling that the city is full of development everywhere. The towering skyscrapers are impressive. The picture shows the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the most famous scenic spot in Shanghai. This was the last city I visited before the pandemic, and now it's happening. We can't travel, especially to foreign countries. My classmates used to talk about travel plans when it came to holidays, but now everyone stays at home and can't go out. It makes me feel very bored because by traveling I can not only see the scenery I have never seen before but also relax and understand the local culture. Now that we can't do that because of the pandemic, it's frustrating for most of us. However, we also have things to do at home. We can study, watch TV dramas, take up new interests and so on. What we can do now is to do our part, not cause trouble to others, and fight the pandemic together. When I can travel abroad, I want to go to Hokkaido, Japan the most, because I like snow very much. It is said that the snow there is fantastic.

I went to Hainan before the pandemic. I have been there several times, almost every holiday, because there are wonderful scenes and environments. I like the fresh air there, and swimming in a natural pool. The beach there has many seashells; the water is very clear. Such a beautiful scene always makes people relaxed and happy. I also went to local homes for indigenous dishes and seafood. Also the duty-free shops there have countless good deals.

Now I can't travel because of the pandemic, and I have to stay at home for every holiday. This makes me very grumpy because I don't like staying at home. Before the pandemic, our family had planned to travel, but all our plans were disrupted due to the sudden outbreak of COIVD-19. This led me to become very passive and lazy at home. If the travel ban is lifted, I must go to Sichuan.

This is a picture of my Chinese friends and American friends in the United States at that time. This was taken before the pandemic in 2020. Now, these friends are scattered all over the world and haven't been seen in a long time.

I still remember that I went to the United States through a school project, together with my schoolmates. First, we went to California, and then we went to Places like Washington, New York, and Boston, which are very iconic cities in the United States.

Let me talk about my feelings about going abroad first. First of all, America is very warm and open to me, but I don't find it agreeable, not because it is not good, but because I think a strong atmosphere or ambiance field of this country made me slightly uneasy. But what about the upside? I like my shadow a lot - a high school student from the Middle East. He is very handsome and kind to me. He is a boy scout.

But what do I still remember? It is not the deep atmosphere of the Lincoln Memorial, nor the academic atmosphere of the prestigious universities. My favorite place is actually Burger Joint - supposedly it has the best burger in America. I can still remember the smell of that cheeseburger.

So this is my trip to America.

I remember it was a school holiday, me and my roommates went to Beijing Universal Studios. On that day, we get up early, departing from different places in Beijing to Universal Studios. When we step into the global road, we saw a large model of the earth immediately. Moving forward, we saw the buildings of different styles in front of our eyes, minions, Jurassic Park, Waterworld, Hollywood, and Kung Fu Panda with its Chinese style. All these make people feel surreal. But now, because of the COVID outbreak, we can only stay at home. Although we can't travel around the world, this is to protect our security. When the pandemic ends and we can safely go to other countries, I will consider a trip to Europe with my grandmother to see churches since she is a Christian. For me, I also can accept some of the new cultures.

This photo was taken about 2 years ago. If I remember correctly, it was taken during the Christmas holiday in 2019 in Japan.

I traveled with my best friend Mia. That day we went to Shibuya, Japan's famous fashion mecca. We saw a lot of fashionable people, well-designed architecture, and tasted delicious food on the street. Even though it rained that day, it didn't detract from our experience.

Now, we can't travel abroad because of the serious pandemic. Whenever I talk about my wishes to travel with my friends, I feel very sad, because there are so many countries I haven't been to yet. I haven't been to Australia to see a kangaroo, to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower, and to Iceland to see the aurora.

If the pandemic ends, the country I want to go to is the UK. First, I want to see London Bridge and Big Ben. I have known these two scenic spots on TV or in magazines since childhood, and I want to see them with my own eyes. Secondly, I will be able to start my new life of studying in the UK. No more epidemic bothers me.

上面的照片是我第一次在悉尼体验高空跳伞项目，对于我来说还是比较刺激的，也是比较有挑战性的，跳伞前的害怕，紧张到双腿发软，到跳下去后的震撼与享受。

我们穿过云层，从高空俯瞰下面的世界在太阳的映衬下显得分外好看，这些都是其他项目不曾带给过的体验。
